Sunlit Bazaar Courtyard

This piece is part of a set design practice where I explored a stylized Middle Eastern-inspired courtyard environment. The focus was on creating a lively yet grounded space using strong architectural forms, warm lighting, and contrasting materials.

I built the scene in Unreal Engine, working on composition, scale, and lighting to achieve a cinematic feel. The golden hour lighting plays a big role in defining the mood, highlighting the domes, fabric elements, and layered depth of the city in the background. I also experimented with adding small storytelling elements like market setups, cloth drapes, and foliage to make the space feel inhabited.

Post-processing and final touches were done in Photoshop to refine color balance and enhance the overall atmosphere.

This project was mainly about understanding set dressing, visual storytelling, and how lighting can shape the mood of an environment.
