This project started as an exploration of a structured floating city, but gradually evolved into something more organic and alive.
In the early stages, I focused on designing modular islands and planned architecture with clear pathways and connections. As I moved into 3D, the forms began to change—becoming less rigid and more adaptive, which felt more aligned with a solarpunk vision.
The final result is a floating environment where technology and nature coexist. Instead of separating the two, I tried to blend vegetation into the architecture—using foliage, waterfalls, and soft landscape elements to break the hard surfaces. The waterfalls also hint at a self-sustaining system, not just visual detail.
I also added small human figures to ground the scale and make the space feel lived in rather than just conceptual.
This project was a good learning process in letting go of overly controlled designs and allowing the environment to evolve naturally during production.
