Cyberpunk Gully

This project was focused on creating a sci-fi Indian slum environment for background design and visual storytelling. The goal was to mix the crowded and layered feeling of Indian streets with a futuristic cyberpunk atmosphere while still keeping the environment grounded and believable.

I explored different stages of the process including clean linework, flat colors, value sketches, final render and the color scripting, A lot of attention was given to small environmental details like hanging clothes, cables, pipes, neon signboards, and narrow alleyways to capture the lived-in feeling of the space.

For the color palette, I experimented with different moods across morning, evening, and night lighting setups to see how the same environment changes emotionally through color and light. The final render combines soft atmospheric lighting with neon accents to create a cinematic sci-fi mood inspired by dense urban areas in India.

This project helped me explore environment storytelling, lighting, composition, and color design while building a believable futuristic setting.
